Western Elements

I am trying to use up retired Designer Paper. This week I have been concentrating on Western Sky. This was one of my first purchases of designer paper and I loved it at the time. Well, we all know that with new products coming out all the time, we tend to put away the old. My files are full and I want EVERYTHING in the new catalog. Something has to go.

I basically CASED this card from one I saw on Stampin' Connection. I think my colors are different and I used a small piece of Western Sky for the first layer.

When I find a cute design, I immerse myself in my paper and my tools. Here is another version of the card purse I first posted earlier this week. This time I did not copy the card designs! Yes, they are originals!

Just Playing Around

Recently I have been playing around with blending the old with the new. I saw a cute "bag in a box" design that is really a Card Purse. I just had to try one. It is the same idea as the larger gift bag I make, just smaller. The finished bag holds six cards and envelopes. I made this set a "Thank You" gift set. There are two of each card design.

The "old" in this set is the retired Delicate Dots designer paper. The "new is the Perfect Punches and Elements of Style stamp sets. They are both great sets and I know I will be using them a lot!

Because I Care

I can tell you that this is going to be my go to set for this year! I don't think you can make a bad card with this image. I can see birthday, get well, congratulations and many more!
